The Idaho Foodbank and the Backpack Program
Holland & Hart's Boise Office
The Boise office, through local fundraisers and
the help of the Holland & Hart Foundation, presented
a check for $11,700 to the Idaho Foodbank for the
children’s weekend backpack program. The BackPack for
Kids Program is part of the “End Hunger in Idaho”
campaign sponsored by the Idaho Foodbank. The
backpacks include nutritious, child-friendly, easy-toprepare
food for children to take home over the weekend
in the Boise and Meridian School Districts. The money
we presented will fund the entire 2007-08 school year
for one of our local elementary schools. In addition,
many people in the Boise office have committed onehour
of their time as part of Holland & Hart’s 60th
Anniversary by sorting food at the Idaho Foodbank.
Our designated evening is the first Tuesday of every
month.
