In
the firm’s 50th anniversary year, as current and retired
personnel came together from all offices to celebrate and
work together on a firm-wide service initiative, there was
a greater recognition of the firm’s collective commitment
to community service. It was during this time that firm leaders
realized the value of harnessing the spirit of Holland &
Hart’s unique culture of effecting positive change for
the greater good. Under the leadership of retired partner
Sam Guyton and his wife, Jean, and with the support of firm
management, the Holland & Hart Foundation began its work
in 1999.
The Foundation continues to focus on three primary
goals:
- Recognize and encourage existing individual and group
volunteerism
- Support additional opportunities for individual, office
and firm-wide volunteer projects
- Provide educational programs on topics of interest
All of these activities include present and former attorneys,
staff and their families.
