Holland & Hart has remained true to its core values established
by its founders nearly 60 years ago – an unwavering
commitment to community and volunteerism. Today, the firm’s
culture of service and giving back to the communities in which
we live and work is stronger than ever.
In 1947, Joe Holland and Steve Hart established a new law
firm in Denver to which they brought a strong belief in giving
back to the community that had given so much to them. Today
Holland & Hart LLP is a firm of more than 350 lawyers
in thirteen offices. The firm’s commitment to community
is stronger than ever.
Throughout the Rocky Mountain West, Holland & Hart attorneys
and staff are making a positive impact in their communities
through pro bono legal work and volunteerism.
Under the leadership of retired partner Sam Guyton and his
wife, Jean, and with the support of firm management, the Holland
& Hart Foundation was incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)(3)
charitable and educational organization in November 1998.
The Foundation continues to focus on three primary goals:
Recognize
and encourage existing individual and group volunteerism
Support
additional opportunities for individual, office and firm-wide
volunteer projects
Provide
educational programs on topics of interest
All of these activities include present and former attorneys,
staff and their families.
